Stayed here for three nights with my brother the other day.

We have stayed in Easy Hotels in Luton and Edinburgh before, so we knew what to expect. For what you pay it is perfect, good location (2 mins walk from RosenthalerPlatz U Bahn station) about a ten minute walk to HackescherMarkt and easily accesible to everything else.

Very friendly and helpful staff, and for the amount of time we spent in the room it was great value for money. If we return to Berlin, we would stay here no problem.

Small rooms, but like I say, thats the idea.

“Amazing price for good rooms”
Reviewed June 7, 2012

The real attractive of this hotel is no doubt the price. Very cheap! The rooms are very new and clean, but dont expect much space, the rooms are very small, but its enough to a short stay. Everything you need extra you must pay extra, like wifi, roomservice, new towels, even to watch TV. But the price to have a good bed to sleep and a hot shower is good enough! The staff are very helpfull too. Nice neighborhood, a lot of options to eat and shop. There is a U-bahn station really close.

I love this hotel!

This is the fourth easyhotel we have stayed in, having stayed in Zurich and two in London previously.

We felt that this is by far the best of the brand and it is good value for money considering it only cost 45 euros a night for a kingsize bed and bathroom (room 508).

The room isn't massive but for a city break all you need is a clean (it is spotless in room and bathroom) comfortable (mattress is perfect) and well located (it is a 5 min walk to Rosenthaler tube stop or about a 15 min walk to the museums).

There are some great little eateries near by too. We had breakfast in the place underneath the hotel which is mid-range but good quality fair and then we went to the bakery by the tube which was ridiculously cheap for freshly baked produce and coffee. We eat at a nearby vietnamese restaurant which was delicious and also so cheap (German beer was 2.50E a pint).

In the hotel, the staff were really friendly and were conscious of the large stag party staying in the hotel and so made sure we were not on the same floor as them (just in case!).

“Easyhotel – Location and Value”
Reviewed May 23, 2012

This was our second Easyhotel we stayed at on our trip.

We found the check in staff to be very friendly, spoke very good English and were very professional. The location was excellent, just steps away from one of the main subway lines and a short jump from the central station. The area was full of trendy cafes and resturaunts. The room, like all Easyhotels we stayed at, was clean, well kept, and small. The actual double bed was a welcome change, Double twins get tiresome as a couple when someone is always sleeping in the dip.

The value for money was great, I'd recommend this as your #1 try for anyone looking for budget but decent accomodations.

A very good hotel situated in the heart of Berlin. It follows the line of easy jet. You pay a quite cheap for the basic accommodation and if u want more u must pay extra. The staff was helpful generally we did not have any problem. The rooms are quite small. If u are a student and u just want to spend some nights without paying a fortune then it is definitely your choice.

Good location, good price. Everything u need if ur only sleeping at night and going out all day doing stuff. We got the map of the city frm the hotel and that was really helpful. Have to pay for everything as an extra, but we knew that before hand. I think the focus was on how to get guest to pay for extras eg Internet, tv, cleaning, extra pillows. I think the focus should have been of customer satisfaction and service

I was in Berlin just over a week ago and stayed for 4 nights. This is the same hotel my friends choose every time they go to Berlin.

Rooms can be so small you'll laugh when you first open the door, but seriously, if your holiday is going to be based around lots of sight seeing etc, what more do you need than a bed and a shower/toilet?

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great! You are provided with the very bare essentials in this hotel. A towel, hand towel and some toilet paper, as well as some hand/body/hair wash in a pump pack on the wall beside the sink and in the shower.

Expect to literally live out of your suitcase as there are no wardrobes!!

Staff at reception are very friendly and helpful and they all have excellent English speaking skills.

I'm not too familiar with Berlin but it appears this hotel is in a decent location. It's a nice short walk to different shops and there are plenty of restaurants everywhere. There are also a few stations close by too (although I never got public transport).

There are also two really yummy places right next to the hotel which are great for breakfast.

I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Berlin as it's super cheap and comfortable!

A really good value for money really! But you need to be prepared for the kind of hotel it is. If you are not too much service demanding it is fine. You need to know that you will have to pay for every single extra, nothing is included. Saying that, we didn't really care, the basics were really good, the location awesome and overall, a really good value for money for having your own room with own shower and toilet, brilliant! paying every extra but I guess, it is part of the deal

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights while traveling in berlin earlier this month. the standard room is a little smaller than the London's, though the shower and toilet feels much better. the room is clean and neat, bed is reasonablly comfortable. it's less than one minute walking from Rosenthalar U-bahn, 12 minutes walking to Hackescher market (2 bus stops), there are many cafes and restaurants around, easy to try different cuisine. BTW, there's one REWE (a supermarket) 8 minutes walking away. (these's buses to take, too) The staff is very friendly and willing to help, and there's an elevator which is much better than I expected (no elevators in London's and Edinburgh's) i think this hotel is good for solo traveller: safe, clean, nice location and reasonable price...

Not a bad hotel. it offers very good value for Berlin. Other cheap places were either grubby or very badly located. This hotel is about 5-10 mins walk from HackescherMarkt. It does have a tube/metro nearby. You can easily walk to Museum Island and the other sights in the old East. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic break. There is no privacy in the bathroom/toilet enclosure. You just get a corner of the room with 3/4 length frosted glass panels. The rooms were sort of halls of residence in look. It is part of the Easyjet thing and you get what you pay for. I will go back (on my own) but wouldn't dream of staying here with my wife. They also offer bike hire which was quite cheap and a great way to see the (fairly flat) city.

So clean, quiet and cosy - but be warned, the rooms are tiny. I've filled this out keeping in mind the fact that I knew the room would be as tiny and cramped as it was. Nevertheless, it was very comfortable and exceptionally peaceful and warm, given its location is so close to the Mitte.

I stayed at Easyhotel for 4 nights with my partner. The room cost 25 Euros a night and for the amount of money we payed we were very pleased. As many people have mentioned the rooms are very small. There is just enough room for a bed and bathroom facilites. As there is no wardrobe you have to live out of your suitcase but this wasn't an issue for us. The bed was very comfy and seemed bigger than a double. There are no curtains but a wooden panel that slides across the window keeping every bit of light out. The toilet, wash basin and shower is situated in a corner of the room seperated by glass which is partly frosted. If you are sharing a room make sure it is with someone you know intimately. The hotel charges for any extras such as room service (which we never used). Using a hairdryer meant leaving a 15 Euro deposit. You got 10 Euro back once it was returned. There are vending machines offering drinks and snacks in the basement and internet access in the lobby. Staff are on reception 24/7 and were very polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated close to a metro station and has many shops, cafes, restaurants and bars within the area. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great hotel for a city trip. Public transport is just a few hundred metres away and has great connections to get to anywhere in the city. Staff is very friendly and helpful, speaks English very well. The hotel is brand new. Everything is very modern and in a great state. Rooms are very small, but for us that was okay, since all we ever do at our hotel is sleep and shower. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast, but there's plenty around. The Bagel Company is right next door. The luggage room consists of big lockers to put your suitcases in. This is one of the best systems I have seen. You can be sure your luggage is safe. All in all we had a great stay here and I would sure come back.

“Small but clean, cheap and at a good location”
Reviewed 18 September 2011

We booked a small room and stayed there for two nights. It was indeed a very small room - don't go here if you are planning to take two big suitcases each, it just won't fit - but the room was very clean, the bathroom comfortable and the staff were friendly. Everything you could possibly need was in the room: shampoo, soap, towels, electricity sockets and even night lamps at the bed. We arrived at the hotel around 10.30pm after an evening flight, and we could still check in without any hassle (after 11pm they close the main door but there will still be somebody at the reception desk to let you in). The location is perfect too: next to the hotel you'll find the underground station Rosenthaler Platz, a little further away you will find S-Bahn station Hackescher Markt, and Alexanderplatz is some 10 minutes away by foot. There is a bagel shop next to the hotel where you can have breakfast but we tried the Back Factory as well, which was 50 meters further down the road and offered more choice at a better price. A downside is that you might start to feel locked up in your small room if you stay there for a long time and don't want to hang out in the city all day - you should actually aim to stay there only for the night. Also you had to pay for the television (€5 per day) and the shower can be a bit of a problem if you share a room with someone you don't know that well: you can kind of see through the glass. There is no wardrobe, only two iron coat hangers on the wall, so you should try not to bring too much luggage.

But hey - where else do you get a very clean bed and your own bathroom right in the center of Berlin for just € 25 per room per night? Can't fault this hotel at all and will definitely stay there again if I ever return to Berlin.

Good location for exploring the eastern parts of Berlin. A small, but clean room with shower and toilet is all that need when I vistit Berlin. I'm not spending much time in the hotel anyway, all I need is a bed and a bathroom, and that is all that I get here too. As with low-cost airline you have to pay extra for everything (TV, wifi, extra towels, cleaning etc.), but for a short weekend stay I don't need that. I just need a bed and a shower. The location is pretty good, Alexanderplatz is about a kilometre away and the Museum Island located just 15 minutes walk away. The subway (U-bahn) station Rosenthaler Platz? is just outside the Hotel, but if you enjoy walking like we did, you don't need it. Good location for exploring Prenzlauer Berg.

In my opinion, this is the best location you can find in Berlin, close to the exiting areas of Hackescher Markt and Prenzlauer Berg. And in Mitte, its close to Alexanderplatz and all the sights.

Yes, the room is very small. You have to pay extra to get a room cleaning, hair dryer etc. Sometimes I missed the luxury of getting the room cleaned every day. But all in all, this is great value.
